Lot 1-51: Books from the library of the late Dr. Richard Luckett, formerly Fellow & Pepys Librarian of Magdalene College, Cambridge. A genuine polymath he wrote on Music, English Literature, and History. His rooms in the Pepys Building were remarkable not only for the book collection, but also for the collection of musical instruments, including the second oldest known Spanish harpsichord. All books contain his book label, and often his pencilled bibliographical notes
